Dr. Bergstrom moved to
Arlington, Texas
in 1986 to begin practice in the specialty of Obstetrics and
Gynecology after completing her training in Kansas. She was originally born in Sioux City, Iowa, but
moved at the age of 9 to finish high school in North Platte, Nebraska. After attending college and
Medical
School at the University of Nebraska, she moved to Kansas City, KS to train as an Obstetrician/ Gynecologist.
It was there that she met her husband, John McDonald, who is a
practicing Pathologist in the Mid-Cities area. They have 3
daughters born in 1986, 1988, and 1990.
She has been strongly involved in
Arlington
community activities, serving on the AISD Board of Education from
1993-1996, founding the AISD Education Foundation, and currently
serving as chair of the Neighborhood Revitalization Steering
Committee of Arlington.
DAWNETTE PEPPLER, M.D.,
F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Peppler was born and raised in Nebraska. She completed her medical
school and residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In July
of 2000 she moved to Arlington and joined Dr. Bergstrom in private practice.
She and her husband, Don Sickels, have 3 children (all girls!) born in
1998, 2002, and 2006.
Dr. Peppler has special interest in obstetrics and treats both normal and high-risk pregnancies. She also enjoys managing patients with infertility and heavy or irregular periods.
