Physicians

Joan L. Bergstrom, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Bergstrom was born in Sioux City, Iowa and moved to Nebraska at the age of 9. She attended the University of Nebraska where she completed college and medical school. She completed 4 years of residency at KUMC in Kansas City, KS. In 1986, she moved to Arlington, Texas and opened her practice in OB-GYN. Dr. Bergstrom has 3 daughters and has been very involved in community and civic organizations in the community. She was elected to the AISD School Board in 1993 and completed a 3 year term. She has served as Chairman of the OB-GYN Department of Arlington Memorial Hospital from 1999-2001. She is currently Chairman of the Neighborhood Revitalization Strategic Area of Downtown Arlington. She is a member of ACOG, AMA and Texas Medical Association.

Dawnette K. Peppler, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Peppler grew up in Kearney, Nebraska, where she also attended college. She completed 4 years of medical school and 4 years of residency at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. She moved to Arlington, Texas in 2000, when she completed her training and has practiced continuously with WHS since then. Dr. Peppler has 3 daughters and is active in her children's activities and school associations. Dr. Peppler is a member of the Texas Medical Association, ACOG, and AMA.

Angela Watson, M.D.

Dr. Watson was born and raised in Irving, Texas. She attended the University of North Texas and graduated with honors from the Classic Learning Core Honors Program in August of 1999 with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Watson graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas SWMS. Dr. Watson is a member of the Texas Medical Association, AMA, and ACOG. Dr. Watson was recently married in 2009.
