Sheri Puffer, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than 11 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. A warm, friendly physician who truly enjoys spending time with her patients, Dr. Puffer launched her career in private practice with Women’s Health Services in Arlington, Texas, to better connect with and treat her patients to the highest quality care possible.
A Canadian native, Dr. Puffer moved from Toronto to Texas in 1992. She later attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied biology. After graduation, she enrolled in medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Puffer grew to love women’s health care during her time in medical school, so it came as no surprise when she relocated to Dallas to complete her OB/GYN residency at Baylor University Medical Center after earning her medical doctorate.
As a supremely skilled physician and gynecological surgeon, Dr. Puffer treats and manages a broad range of women’s health conditions, including normal and high-risk pregnancies, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, uterine descensus, birth control, menstrual pain, and menopause. At her office, Dr. Puffer ensures that patients are provided with the most innovative treatments and therapies available, such as colposcopy, Novasure® Uterine Ablation, loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), and hysteroscopy procedures.
In addition to her clinical passions, Dr. Puffer is an active member of the AMA, Texas Medical Association, and a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She and her husband, Ashton, have three wonderful children — two sons and one daughter. When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Puffer is a master baker at home.
